About Rogue City
Rogue City is a blog, hosted by the amazing Georgina at her hosting site, Floriental.org, and run by me, Sam. It was opened on July 9th 2010, incidentally, my fourteenth birthday. The name, which is quite mediocre, was a fusion of two subjects I used to be quite fond of, but will now fade into abstract-ness. Because I said so.

Past Layouts

01 – DaydreamThe left pictured layout, titled ‘Daydream’ is Rogue City’s current and first layout. The doodled part of the layout was drawn on a Maths homework sheet during aforementioned class, and a lot of time was spent painstakingly erasing the algebra from inside the doodle. I like this layout because of the personal touch of my own artwork, although I find it a little light and minimalistic for my liking. |

02 – SquidopusRogue City’s second layout, Squidopus, only took six months for me to finally make. There were (and this is no hyperbole) about 25 drafts of different designs before this one, and Photoshop corrupted the illustration’s file just as I’d finished it, forcing me to start again. I quite like it, although there’s still a lot to be desired. I suppose that’s an occupational hazard of being a perfectionist. This layout was put up on January 16th, 2011. |
